About The Author
Brian Tacy is a lifelong boater who enjoys exploring the waters of Southwest Florida with his family.
Over the years, he has shared countless days on the water teaching children and grandchildren about boating safety, wildlife, fishing, navigation, and respect for the Gulf.
The Gulf Explorers series was created to help young readers build confidence on the water while learning the skills and values that make boating fun, safe, and rewarding.
When he’s not writing, Brian can often be found aboard Turtle-Y Awesome exploring the waters around Pine Island, Sanibel, and the surrounding Gulf Coast.
